Selection Criteria
- Between the ages of 14-19 and enrolled in high school or home-schooled in Richmond or Columbia Counties 
- Possess sincere commitment, motivation, and interest to serve the community. 
- Possess high moral character 
- A history of service to their school, neighborhood, or community 
- Demonstrated leadership qualities 
Selection Process
- The application and reference forms must be submitted by April 17, 2026. Required materials include an application, essay, and nomination form. All applications must be typed. 
- All documents must be submitted on the portable below, or emailed to the Selection Committee at ryanclarkapplications@gmail.com 
- Previous winners are ineligible to apply to this scholarship 
- All applicants and their families are invited to the Scholarship Reception and Ceremony on May 7, 2026 at Lakeside High School

Community Service
Our applicants excel in community service, and go above and beyond in volunteering their time. We love to see applicants who have answered the call to help their communities and take pride in being an advocate for others in their communities.
Leadership
Our applicants use their essays as opportunities to share how they have used community service, academics and other extracurricular activities to advance their personal growth and strive to be a leader amongst their peers.
Academics
Our applicants are students who take their academics seriously and are prepared to take their journey from high school to collegiate studies.
